Hints of oak and vanilla flow under melon and pear on the nose. Apple, pear, and Meyer lemon, with vanilla and a touch of toast make a complex palate. It has bright acidity and a soft, round mouth-feel. This is an excellent, rich, round, complex wine, with a sophistication several steps above the norm. Drink with Dover sole. Highly Recommended. 94 points. DBH
