Overall feel is very lush, with silky tannins, moderate acids, and a long finish that ends where it started, with violets scents lingering. Well-priced for the quality, drink this and spend the money you saved on prime filet to match. Highly recommended. DH.
On the sweeter side of off-dry. Hints of dried apricot and Meyer lemon on the mid-palate. Ripe, even bruised, rather than tart, apples linger on the finish. Recommended. DH
The inaugural wine from Guarachi Family Vineyards. Great choice. The wine showcases what a great winemaker, Paul Hobbs, can do in one of Napa's best years. This is a big wine in a big bottle, and it should share the table with a big steak, perhaps a cowboy ribeye. Highly Recommended. DH
